Asset Finance – Fixtures and Fittings
In 2019 we were approached to look at financing all the fittings that needed to go into a new venue. This literally would cover furniture, catering equipment, Software, Soft furnishings, carpets, outdoor furniture all the way to lampshades and cutlery.
The challenge being that many companies do not like to finance what are referred to as soft assets. The client wanted everything financed. In addition there were a number of different suppliers for each product. So the client had a numerous suppliers and the goods were to be installed over a number of months.
We were able to use our panel of funders and pick the appropriate route and delivered a 5-year Lease Purchase for over £345,000 of furniture and fittings. At the same time were able to pay deposits and phased payments whilst the client had just one simple agreement. A win for the client and the suppliers.
